There are also other perks such complimentary garment pressing, shoe shining, magazines, newspapers and even a personalized butler service that can help you pack or unpack your bags should you wish to do so. These services are accessible via the 49-inch Samsung Flat Screen, which allows guests to order room service from the private kitchen, request for the twenty-four-hour babysitting and special pillows like the Magnetic Pillow, “V” Comfort Pillow and Body Pillow.

Breakfast is served from 6:30am to 10:30am with French Toast, Croissants, and fuller meals like Bryani Fried Rice and Gulai Ayam. This is followed by All Day Food from 1:00pm-6:00pm such as Tomato Bruschetta, Beef Sliders, and Salmon Pumpernickel, alongside main course choices like Rawon, an Indonesian Beef Stew dish.

Afternoon Tea is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and subsequently, Evening Cocktail from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, which has five hot dishes in addition to alcoholic refreshments like with savoury delicacies like Chicken with BBQ Sauce, Potato Au Gratin and Salmon with Beurre Blanc Sauce. All dishes are subjected to change on a regular basis.

There are other places to go for a meal as well. Tom’s by Tom Aikens, a two Michelin star chef, is one of the most iconic and well-respect restaurants in the city. Those who drop by are not only treated to a hearty feast of culinary delights but also stunning sights of the landscape from the 62nd floor. The interior is also a place to marvel at with its leather-upholstered seats, massive chandeliers, and open kitchen that cultivates an ambiance that exudes elegance and liveliness in the dining room.

The breakfast banquet is an eclectic combination of Western with classic Asian fares. Encompassing everything from crisp pastries like Cinnamon Sugar Donuts and Croissants to Beef Stew, Bubur Ayam and Soy Sauce Chicken. There is also an Omelette station in the middle of the open kitchen, that not only prepares fresh eggs but includes recommendations for the Special Egg of the Month.

Perhaps the more interesting thing about the place is it has a Satay grill that whips up both Chicken and Beef skewers that are tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The Noodles Station has Laksa in addition to the normal Chicken Broth as a soup base, that supplements the three types of noodles and a ton of extra ingredients.

If you prefer to have your meals prepared for you, there is a menu to choose from alongside a separate Ala Carte menu is available with extra charge. Breakfast begins at 6:30am and ends at 10:30am (daily), while service resumes for Lunch at 12:00pm to 3:00pm (daily). In the afternoon is where they serve Light Meals from 3:00pm to 6:00pm (daily) and after, Dinner, with a Full Ala Carte lineup which starts at 6:00pm to 10:00 pm (daily). The place also hosts Sunday Brunch at 12:00pm to 3:00pm (every Sunday) and, Snack and Desserts from 10:00pm to 11:30pm (daily).

Alice

For some light bites, Alice has some spectacular pastries that are delicious and delicately made. Located on the same level as the Lobby, this café is based on the 1865 children’s novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, with various elements within the diner bearing the motifs that are synonymous with the book.

Patrons have a choice of the main seating area, which has three chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, emitting warm lights over the simplistic black furnishings, or they can opt for the alfresco dining area, where they can enjoy their snacks while admiring the greenery and enjoying the weather.

Alice x BVLGARI High Tea

The Langham, Jakarta is currently holding an exclusive collaboration with BVLGARI, a globally renowned luxury fashion brand to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the BVLGARI Serpenti collection. This means that there is  a specific menu full of items that are uniquely made for all to enjoy.

Indulge a selection of delectable delights, featuring miniature creations inspired by the iconic Serpenti Forever top-handle bag from BVLGARI. Items are served in a distinct bird cage that has three different tiers. The top tier contains five sweet pastries like the Serpenti 75 that has Pistachio Mousse, Apricot Jelly, and Pistachio Praline, while the middle tier holds five savoury pastries like the Truffle Cheese Croquette, that has Parmesan Risotto, Truffle Paste and Black Ink Breadcrumbs.

And of course, it would not be complete it did not include a visit to the current top rooftop bar in Jakarta, Artesian Bar Jakarta of which there are two types of seating (indoor and outdoor). The mixologist here takes drinks seriously thus each cocktail is concocted with utmost care, paying respect to the ingredients used. Facilities

The dazzling facilities of this property are split between two places. To get to Chuan Spa, the outdoor pool and the first steam room, take the elevator to the level L, which is the reception. They will then have to switch to another elevator situated on the left when facing the concierge desk. From there, head up to the 6th level where they will find the amenities.

For those who are looking for the gym, indoor pool, hot jacuzzi and the second steam room need only simply take the elevator to the 63rd floor of the guest rooms building, where they can access the utilities.

Outdoor Swimming Pool

The twenty-four-hour gym, that embodies an expansive exercise area, is stocked with weight racks, bench presses, multiple treadmills, and even certified personal fitness instructor to guide your workouts from 8:00am to 7:00pm. There are also two Steam Rooms that can help soothe sore muscles, reduce inflammation, and promote good circulation, if a post-training rejuvenation session is needed.

Furthermore, there are two pools to dip your toes in. This means that whether you are drawn to the allure of the outdoor pool for an Instagram-worthy shot of the cityscape or prefer the indoor heated pool and separate hot jacuzzi for a serene dip, the hotel has both. Each section come complete with changing rooms, stocked with bath products and clean towels, to accommodate for those who opt to shower within the premise.

The renowned Chuan Spa is a wellness sanctuary for those looking to relief some tension in their bodies and to calm their minds.
