Start off your gourmet journey with some Chinese tea, expertly brewed and poured by the professional service staff. There is even “tea sommeliers” at hand to give advise on which type of tea is best suited to the courses to come. Choose from an extensive range of black, white, green, floral, herbal teas, each with it’s own set of characteristics and some even beneficial to one’s health.
Well recommended starter is the Steamed Garoupa, Prawns and Scallops Dumpling that taste as good as it looks. Masterfully shaped in a pair of beautiful goldfishes in bright orange/yellow colours, finished with edible gold flakes. Bite into the soft semi translucent dumpling skin and relish flavours from the perfect combination of fish and shellfish.
Another superb appetizer is Crispy Coconut Dumpling, deep fried to a brilliant golden hue, crispy on the outside yet with tender insides filled with the superfruit coconut and topped with premium birds nest plus edible gold leaf. Minced Duck Served in Lettuce Wraps is an engaging dish whereby diners are called to join in the fun of wrapping their own food. Flavourful and well minced top quality duck meat (marinated in a secret blend of spices) is first place into a single lettuce leaf and then filled with condiments according to your preference.
