QĪN Restaurant and Bar’s kitchen team is lead by executive chef James Tay who boast stellar experiences both abroad and in Singapore, bringing an additional x factor to this establishment with his vase culinary knowledge and technical skills.
The hearty menu for breakfast includes western influences such as The QĪN Breakfast to rich Asian staples like the Home Brewed Local Porridge. This is a variation of the congee that is signature to many TungLok restaurants, chef’s daily brewed porridge with seafood topped with delectable delights such as fried shallots, spring onions, and a dough fritter. Flavourful braised peanuts, ikan bilis and century egg are served on the side. Enjoy your meal in an atmosphere that effortlessly blends historical charm with sophistication. For dinner, the Spatchcock is not to be missed. Corn-fed chicken from France with rice cake that taste similar to the Singaporean chicken rice but elevated to a fine dining standard. Fermented chilli aioli drops on the fowl and generous amount of shoyu jus to finish.
