For a taste of Indonesia, the Nasi Gudeg Keraton showcases slow-cooked young jackfruit served with opor ayam, sambal goreng krecek, and a palm sugar-braised egg. The main course showcased Bistik Jawa, where Tajima MB4-5 beef tenderloin was elevated with a rich Javanese sweet soy and caramelised onion sauce, served alongside baby potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and matched with a 2017 Sangiovese blend. The evening concluded on a distinctly Indonesian note with a Kopi Luwak Dark Chocolate Ganache Tart, crafted from single-origin Kopi Luwak-infused dark chocolate ganache and presented with a vibrant frozen accompaniment and edible flowers, perfectly complemented by a glass of Brachetto d’Acqui.
