1. What is your dream destination and why?
I really enjoyed myself in London and New York because I am a very “city” kind of person and I love the diversity and energy both places give me. They also have a good mix of scenery, shopping, food, culture and are really easy for solo travelling.
2. Three things that you could never travel without?
Phone (so important nowadays!), sunglasses and passport (duh!).
3. Which destination surpassed your expectations and surprised you the most?
Turkey! I’ve been there twice, and both left beautiful memories. I didn’t think I would enjoy it that much, but I do love the culture, the sights and sounds and the whole relaxing vibe. But perhaps, it was more of the company that was with me on both occasions…
4. Where and what was your most memorable meal you have ever had while travelling?
An omakase meal in Tokyo, it costs a bomb but was really yummy! I’m a big fan of Japanese food, so that freshness and exquisiteness of the meal really satisfied me big time, but also left a big hole in my pocket. HAHA! Food in Japan typically won’t disappoint much.
5. Where are you looking to travel to next?
I’ve been wanting to visit Hawaii and Las Vegas. I’ve never been to these two places but have seen many pictures and movies about them. Hawaii for the sun, cocktails and beaches, and Vegas for the buzz and nightlife. Not sure when we can all travel again!
6. What projects are you currently working on?
I currently host the evening belt radio show on UFM100.3, 4 to 8pm every weekday. Besides, I’m planning to start my own business this year (more details to follow), and working on creating more online presence!
7. Do you have any tips or advice for budding DJs?
Be confident, and don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Seize every opportunity that comes your way and make the best out of it. 🙂
