Start with a pre-meal cocktail Gin Me! a take on the traditional gin and tonic drink using aromatic Gin Mare, olive brine, herbaceous rosemary and a touch of fizz from the elderflower tonic. Homemade “Catalunya” Lobster-Avocado Roll hits all the right spots with this perennial favourite. Filled with generous amount of fresh lobster, wrapped in creamy avocado slices and drenched in tantalising ponzu sauce. Perfectly finished with arugula caviar and salmon roe.

Xarel·lo Pairal 2016 is an easy to drink white wine from Penedès to match the steak tartar made from old-vines and aged for 4 months in chestnut tree barrels giving it a lovely nose. Indulge in the delectable Japanese Tuna Cheek with “Marmitako” Sauce, a hearty course where tuna cheek is stewed till tender, served with olive sauce and fish sauce (made form boiling the bones of tuna with garlic, onion and pepper), a very bold combination of flavours. Take abit of each element together for a truly sublime experience.

Must order for desserts is Olivia’s Creamy Homemade Cheesecake in which fresh ingredients with simple yet refined techniques are used to construct inventive flavors. The restaurant’s famous sweet ending is in the form of burnt cheesecakes, semi melted but still cold made with 7% blue cheese. Even at a such a low percentage the blue cheese flavour is still very evident. Alot of emphasis is place on the desserts as much as the other courses, to finished the dining experience well. Whole cheesecakes are also available for take away, pre-order is a must.
