It is little known that Dorsett Singapore is extremely well located, be it via, bus, train, taxi or private transfer. Just a walk away to the bustling streets of Chinatown where one can get to try traditional cuisine as well as load up on souvenirs. For more upscale shopping, Vivocity shopping mall is just one train stop away and is also the entrance of Singapore’s entertainment island, Sentosa.
Security is upheld here to the highest standards. On top of the usual temperature screening and Trace-Together check in and out is a declaration form that has to be filled on check in and once everyday you step out of the hotel premises. Stationed before the lifts to the rooms is a staff who will ask for your accommodation number to prevent unauthorized access.
Rooms
Accommodation types are well appointed and guests will notice on the way to the rooms that the hallways are filled with contemporary art pieces and quirky fixtures that seems to look like cameras stuck on the wall, which is actually used to display the room number, “do not disturb” and “make up room indicators”.
The Splash Room category is an ideal choice for rest and relaxation. Well designed to make effective use of space with views of the city and some of the hotel’s swimming pool. A work-desk allows one to catch up on business or simply snuggle up on the cosy bed and watch your favourite show on the 42″ LED Television. The bathroom includes a separate standing rain shower and bathtub as well as a good size wardrobe.
Facilities
Dorsett Singapore has a lovely lap pool where guests can have a soak or enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi. Sunbeds are well spaced to get that perfect tan. The functional gym has all you need to keep up with your fitness routine. Advance reservation is required for use of both facilities and access keys can be easily collected at the front desk after booking confirmation.
Dorsett Singapore advocate compulsory safe distancing and implemented different check-in and check-out timings. This will be indicated in your room confirmation letter and NON IN-HOUSE GUESTS ARE NOT allowed in guestrooms or on guestroom floors. All checked in guests are required to adhere to these new regulations.
Under the Covid 19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, please note that the maximum permissible group size for the purpose of leisure per room is not more than 5 individuals. Unless the individuals are from the same household. The Hotel reserves the right to deny entry for any non-registered visitors.
In the event of any non-compliance, under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act, first-time offenders may be fined up to S$10,000, imprisoned up to six months, or both. Repeat offenders may be fined up to S$20,000, imprisoned up to twelve months of both.
