For our trip, the guide Anna met us punctually at our hotel lobby where we promptly boarded an exclusive luxury car for our private tour and driven around to discover some of the most interesting spots in the city. Prior to departure, Anna will assist to double check certain things, for example bringing of proper warm clothing if the day’s forecast is to be a cold one. The essential tour is specially designed for us to know and visit the most important attractions of Barcelona in a dynamic way. Our guide, Anna Pou Van Den Bossche holds a degree in Geography and History, specializing in History of Art, from the University of Barcelona. She enjoyed an FPI scholarship (Training of research personnel from the “Ministry of Education” of Spain (1996-2000) and did teaching practices at the Chair of History of Aesthetic Ideas under the direction of Dr. Pere Salabert. She has also studied a master’s degree in “Thought, theory and debate in the art of the twentieth century” (UB). In 2009 she obtained the title “Official Tourist Guide of Catalonia.”
