Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo

Stepping into the Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo is less like checking into a hotel and more like gaining an all-access pass to the coolest residence in Japan’s most glamorous locale. Perfectly aligned with the Centric DNA of being a “launchpad for explorers,” the property sits right in the thick of Ginza’s high-fashion frenzy. Art is everywhere in this property, from the large format abstract piece, full of bright colours by the reception to the gorgeous motives in the lifts.

For World of Hyatt members and guests, the lobby is a high-key hangout where the hospitality is truly free-flowing. We’re talking a curated beverage station serving everything from artisanal coffee to Suntory Premium Malts on tap. It’s a nostalgic playground where you can grab a Chupa Chups, some retro bubble gum, or savory crackers while dominating the free-to-play arcade games. It’s polished, it’s playful, and it’s exactly the kind of energy you want before hitting the boutiques.

Accommodation

The residential design in the 1 King Bed Room is a showcase in urban “hide and seek.” This isn’t your typical hotel layout; it’s a transformative space anchored by bold, gorgeous artwork that screams Tokyo cool. The real genius lies in the hidden compartments—sleek cabinetry that reveals the washbasin and vanity only when you need them, allowing the room to morph from a functional dressing area into a seamless, high-design sanctuary. It’s architectural cleverness at its finest, ensuring your Ginza base camp feels as sharp and sophisticated as a bespoke suit, with every utility tucked away to keep the aesthetic clutter-free.

Dining

When it comes to dining, NAMIKI 667 hits all the right notes with a breakfast buffet spread that’s as wholesome as it is indulgent. You can go the “wellness” route with oatmeal and All-Bran topped with premium hazelnuts and raisins plus many more condiments, but for the real “wow” factor, the Japanese Curry is unmissable. Rich, fragrant, and paired with premium white rice. The Copper River Sockeye Salmon is an essential indulgence. Expertly prepared, its rich flesh is kissed by the grill before serving, enhancing both depth and flavor.

Dinner steps up the edge even further; the Oven Roasted Akigawa Beef with deep beef jus is a carnivore’s dream, while the Roasted Monkfish And Prosciutto where the fish is delicately wrapped in cured ham, offers a delectable salty-sweet punch in a unique lime leaf sauce. It’s bold, technical, and incredibly satisfying. Of course, no night at NAMIKI 667 is complete without a trip to the bar. The 667 Smokey Negroni is the undisputed heavyweight here—a sophisticated mix of Roku craft gin, Aperol, Galliano, and Umami bitters, theatrically smoked using Sakura tree chips for a lingering, woody finish.

Facilities

If you need to burn off that Negroni the next morning, the gym is the place to be. We love the unapologetic “Centric Red” aesthetic—it’s splashed across the free weights rack, the bench press cushions, and even the floor mats. It’s an high-octane, motivating environment that ensures you look and feel as vibrant as the city outside your door.
