Perfect pastas and more reimagine and conceptualised at the newly launch Twyst in the heart of CBD, backed by SATS venture building arm. An exciting new F&B concept with a no-holds-barred approach to experimenting with classic and contemporary pasta flavours. There is also a show kitchen where you can see the well trained chefs in action cooking your pastas on the spot and even when they are preparing their famous paninis (which are often sold out by morning, so get yours early).
The first flagship outlet at Raffles Place MRT Station has an exciting menu curated by the Singapore National Culinary team, supported by the Singapore Chefs’ Association. You can even customise your pastas from six deliciously classic (Aglio Olio, Tomato Pomodoro, Creamy Alfredo) and contemporary signature flavours (Butternut Kombu, Laksa Olio, Spiced Miso Carrot) with your choice of spaghetti or penne pastas. The produce available to tailor-make your bespoke pasta are chicken, beef pepperoni, prawns, mussels and Harvest Gourmet chargrilled pieces which are good alternatives to protein that contains egg white.
Enjoy these yummy meals with premium grade coffee locally roasted by Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee (one of the oldest coffee roasters in Singapore with both traditional hot brews and trendy cold brews in cool bottles) and complete your meal with gourmet baked treats from Europastry X Country Foods. The team at Savour BlackBookAsiaa Magazine recommends one of Twyst’s panini with a soup and coffee for a quick yet wholesome meal. Have this delicious combo in the air-conditioned comforts of Twyst’s premises or take them away and enjoy them in the privacy of your office or home.
We recommend the Spiced Miso Carrot with penne and beef pepperoni. White miso is used in this inventive recipe which goes well with the carrot flavours. Add on some kale for some fibre and nutrients. Do not forget the cakes, of which the highlight is the Odeh Odeh cake that is a homage to the Peranakan also known as Straits Born Chinese culture with their deep roots in Singapore some of whom came a long time ago via sea boats and possibly docked at the nearby waterway known as Clifford Pier and Boat Quay, both located just walking distance from Twyst.
