第33回写真の町東川賞 新人作家賞を受賞する等、国内外での活躍が目覚ましい野村佐紀子。
受賞理由のひとつとして挙げられた作品集「Another Black Darkness」をはじめとして、最新刊の「Ango」をご紹介致します。

Sakiko Nomura who has been remarkably active in Japan and overseas as well including of  The 33rd Higashikawa Award Winners – New Photographer Award.
We would like to introduce just-published “Ango” starting with a collection of works “Another Black Darkness” which was taken up as a reason for the award she won.

野村佐紀子が初めてソラリゼーションで制作した実験的なシリーズ「もうひとつの黒闇」。
黒い用紙に黒いインクで印刷された本書は、近年出版された写真集の中で最も実験的な写真集として世界中より高い評価を得ています。

Black Darkness sequences an ensemble of black and white photographs mixing nudes, cityscapes and still-lives. Kuroyami when translated means “black darkness” and this theme is prevalent throughout the course of the subject matter presented in this volume.
Dark and brooding, the photographs are presented one image per-page in large folio format.
