What Artistic and chardonnay excellence awaits art enthusiasts at the Ruinart Art Bar which debuts in Singapore at ART SG. The official champagne partner of Southeast Asia’s largest art fair, Maison Ruinart presents an unconventional reinterpretation of art and champagne from the Maison’s longstanding artistic collaboration with internationally renowned British artist David Shrigley.
Eight of David Shrigley’s original drawings are being exhibited for the first time in Southeast Asia at the Ruinart Art Bar. Selected from his collection entitled ‘Unconventional Bubbles’ – created as part of the Maison’s annual Carte Blanche project – they reveal the hidden side of champagne production, the savoir-faire, and Ruinart’s relationship with nature.
The artist’s works, featuring his signature irreverent and humorous style, invite the viewer to rediscover the champagne-making legacy in a mischievous new light and reconsider their relationship with the natural world. Shedding a new light on the vineyard, its heritage and craftsmanship, Shrigley hints at the curious and well-kept secrets of champagne-making.
The Ruinart Art Bar will run from 12 to 15 January as part of the ART SG fair. Art lovers can enjoy Ruinart’s emblematic Blanc de Blancs cuvées as they explore the ‘Unconventional Bubbles’ drawings.
