Polipo
For starters, the Polipo is a perfect dish to begin the meal, the perfectly grilled octopus is served with green pea mashed potato puree and smoked paprika for an addition hint of spiciness. A must-have for the mains is the signature Fettucine, served with scrumptious rock lobster, San Marzano tomatoes that simply bursts with full of flavour upon the first bite. The homemade fettuccine pasta is simply divine, with amazing consistency and works remarkably well with the tomato based sauce. The Scottadito d’ Agnello is another, the tender New Zealand grilled lamb “consolette” is breaded along with fried onions and served with a very unique mint sauce mixed with vinegar and sugar on the side for the perfect complement to the succulent lamb.
The white chocolate cake almond with hazelnut gelato is certain to please any sweet tooth’s cravings for dessert. The cake has an interesting dense texture to it, semi-hard while you cut into it almost like a pound cake. It is served with the lovely hazelnut gelato, mini meringues on the sides and with strawberries.
