The resort has a variety of amenities and facilities to ensure guests a home away from home. Walking into the resort, the first thing each guest does is to hit a large, 200-year old gong to announce their arrival at the resort. The property has 48 suites, villas and residences, each having their own infinity pool facing the seemingly endless Andaman sea. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available in all rooms and across the property. The accommodation in Paresa Resort Phuket ranges from exclusive and cozy 140 square metre Ocean Pool Suites which feature a large balcony, infinity pool, spacious outdoor rain showers overlooking the ocean as well as large daybeds indoors to lounge and read from to the largest residence on the property being the 660 square metre Grand Residence Pool Villas with separate spaces for living and dining including a 10-metre long infinity edge swimming pool, private dining pavilion for up to 12 guests, and a fully equipped kitchen with double door fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, ice machine and wine cellar.

Dining

The resort has 2 in-house restaurants namely Diavolo, which serves Italian-Mediterranean cuisine as well as Talung Thai, serving the best of Thai cuisine with rare southern family recipes. After the pool closes at 6pm daily, the pool is transformed into an exclusive, dining experience for 2 set against the beautiful sunset of the Phuket western coast. Other than the view, the food definitely took centre stage. The Yaam Foie Gras served with green mango and apple salad, durian compote and coconut & tamarind jus was a beautifully balanced dish with ingredients classically not seen together, the foie gras and durian. We were presently surprised at how the 2 strongly-flavoured ingredients would pair so well together. The Mozzarella Di Bufala impressed with fresh buffalo mozzarella that oozed with buffalo milk when bitten into. The beef tomatoes sliced into a fine dice was also very fresh and flavourful, which paired well with the acidity of the Modena balsamic vinegar.

Spa

The Spa by Paresa is a sanctuary which draws inspiration from traditional Thai healing using organic ingredients such as their pandan leaves which are grown in-resort. The spa features 5 double treatment suites with bath and steam showers with large stone bath tubs as well as private balconies overlooking the Andaman Sea. Treatments begin with a health assessment form followed by a choice of 5 different massage oils namely Siam Roots, Oriental, Relax, Revive and Aftersun. Each treatment begins with a unique foot scrub of Jasmine Salt followed by Bergamot slices, serving exfoliation and antiseptic purposes. The resort’s signature Paresa Sensations Massage, uses east-meets-west techniques to improve blood circulation as well as release muscular tension.
