BlackBookCares Presents: Offshore Bar & Grill’s Seafood BBQ Buckets

Offshore Bar & Grill, they are launching their first delivery on Seafood BBQ buckets and the team at Savour BlackBookAsia has given it a try as part of BlackBookCares & Road to Recovery Initiatives and here are our findings.

First pick your cooked to order seafood bucket which will be tossed in a wok first before delivery. Then the delectable food will be delivered to you with in a thoughtful heat insulated packaging (to keep contents warm) together with a disposable table cover, gloves and aprons for added convenience.

  1. Kelong Happy Bucket – Small (Good for 2 Pax) at $129
  2. Kelong Happy Bucket – Medium (Good for 3-4 Pax) at $199

Items included – Sri Lankan Crab, Crayfish, Grey Prawns, Black Mussels, Lala, Corn, Enoki Mushroom, Fish Slices, King Oyster, Korean Clams, Gong Gong, Pork Sausage, Potatoes, Buns.

Alternatively there is also a selection called Taste of The Sea that is good for 2 Pax at $99. Items Included – Crayfish, Grey Prawns, Black Mussels, Lala, Corn, Korean Clams, Gong Gong, Pork Sausage.

Secondly select your sauce from 3 options available:

  1. Furikake Butter Cream ( Cream based from maple honey and a dash of zest)
  2. Spicy Kelong (Fusions of spicy tamarind and Vietnamese Mint) *Savour BlackBookAsia Recommended
  3. Korean Omo Omo ( Homemade Blends of fish curry spices with aromatic herbs, spicy tangy)

Proceed to heat the sauce for 45 seconds in a microwave before pouring into the bag of goodies (which is double bagged incase of leakage). Then secured the “package” with a double knot and shake for a good 30 seconds to 1 minute. After which simply open the bag and pour the delicious seafood, meat and vegetables on the table (place disposable table cover in advance) and enjoy with cleaned hands.

For those of you prefer a little elegance when dining, simply do the same process above and dish it out on your favourite tableware like the below photos and put the provided gloves on. * Savour BlackBookAsia Magazine tip, air fry on high the buns for 2 minutes for that extra crispy exterior and if you like your meals hot, feel free to do a quick stir fry in a wok just before serving.
