Noosa Restaurant is a resort island dining concept restaurant that provides diners with an experience that is absolutely unique. Located in a beautiful large space that interestingly used to be a spa, Noosa has an indoor area that seats 70 with two private rooms and an outdoor space of 20, set alongside the beautiful garden to a lovely pool view. The restaurant’s décor is heavily influenced by traditional Japanese designs and immerses guests into the quiet and calm atmosphere. The menu consists of French-Asian cuisine with the use of the freshest ingredients sourced from the local farms and markets, ensuring diners with a truly exquisite and mouth-watering meal.
With plenty of innovative and amazing items to choose from, the degustation and tasting menu is a great way to indulge into the variety of dishes on offer. The fresh Hokkaido Scallops smoked in apple wood with green pea pure and green apple julienne citrus foam is a remarkably appetizing dish, the perfectly cooked scallops and overall smokiness is great to start. Another dish that showcases the freshness of the produce is the Poached Lobster served with creamy bisque, asparagus and haricot vertes edamame fusing French cooking techniques with Japanese ingredients. For mains, the French Margaret Duck is tender and sweetness of the passionfruit sauce and date chutney complements the saltiness of the duck brilliantly. Another great dish is the wholesome Wagyu Beef Tenderlon paired with red wine sauce, reduce with amazing consistency to achieve the right balance and served with mashed potato and glaze root vegetables.
Their dessert menu boasts some heavenly choices such as the Pineapple Carpaccio; Mango soufflé ice, merengue, star anise and vanilla oil or the delicate Nougat Ice in Chocolate Dome that falls apart while being poured over with sweet mango sauce.
