The restaurant features an open kitchen separated from the main dining area by a glass wall, engaging guests with what goes behind the scene in preparing their dishes. If you are not sure of what to order, there is a 4-course set menu and tasting menu consisting of 6 popular dishes with optional wine paring for your convenience.
Start with an appetizing entree Cured Sea Bass, served with a portion of flavourful salad consisting of ginger, coconut, cucumber, Chiang Mai avocado beautifully finished with an edible cucumber flower. Pair it with a refreshing glass of blanc de blancs as suggested by the sommelier to open up your palate for other gastronomical dishes to come.
Follow this by Crayfish & Cooked Oyster, layering freshly shucked and cooked oyster covered in mousse made with Thai spices alongside sea grapes, freshwater seaweed and jicama turnip underneath. This dish is best complemented with the fruity Gelber Muskateller Gruber Röschitz wine adding a hint of sweetness to the savoury entrée.
Main courses are just as excellent as the starters such as the Sustainable Ocean Fish (Cobia Fish), covered in sour curry with a side of earthy lotus root salad, lotus seed puree adding a creamy nuttiness and pickled vegetables for that sourly punch. The fish is incredibly tender with almost melt in the mouth goodness. To further enhance this delicate dish pair it with a semi dry white wine, Alvarinho Contacto Anselmo Mendes.
Another outstanding main is Grilled River Prawn from Ayutthaya River, glazed with sweet pork jam and fried egg served with creamy organic brown rice mixed with robust tom yam and flavourful river prawn head jus, perfect companion to the Rose D’Anjou whose understated mild acidity balances this dish well.
Finish your meal with two popular and delightful desserts Banana Cheesecake; served with a slice of caramelised fresh banana, caramel ice cream and coffee jam and Coconut Panna Cotta with a Thai twist, topped with refreshing melon ice cream with side of chewy sago, fresh melons, super fruit coconut and coconut juice jelly.
