Diners have to start with wholesome Bruschetta Smoked Australian Organic Tenderloin Tatare which has just the right amount of delightful crunch with every bite. Think Australian certified organic AOM tenderloin tartare topped with shaved flavourful Tartfufo cheese, drizzled with truffle oil for that savoury and aromatic finish. Do ask for seasonal specials such as Bruschetta Spanish Figs topped with ham and balsamic, a lovely sweet sour mix from the figs and balsamic makeing this a must order appetizer to open your palate for more goodies to come.
The Capellini bursts with umami from the rich and creamy sea urchin (uni), cold seaweed pasta, New Zealand diamond shell clam filled with the ocean’s flavour and to top it off, oscietra caviar with it’s complex rich flavour. This dish is well paired with the 2016 Lis Neris Pinot Grigo recommended by the in house sommelier, good body and well balanced.
A favourite for many The Raviolo, freshly handmade using New Zealand barn eggs, porcini mushrooms, ricotta and chicken jus. Topped with generous shavings of Seasonal Manjimup black winter truffles from Australia before serving, invigorating ones senses along this epicurean journey.
For mains Controfilleto is highly sought after, 45 days dry aged Australian stockyard, grain fed, bone in short loin. A generous serving of well-aged and grilled beef with side of seasonal wild mushrooms. The meat is juicy and tender, simply plated but each bite sensational. Coupled this with a 2014 Ripasso from Tommast Viticoltori, a match made in meat lovers heaven.
Dessert fans, you cannot go wrong with the Lemonchillo Tiramisu and Crème Brulee. Tiramisu with passion fruit, finely shaved white chocolate and limoncello are a “literal melt in your mouth” perfect match. The Crème Brulee is served with caramelised mango and coconut cream. The caramelizing of the mango brings out the sweetness of the mango with a beautiful charred taste leaving you craving for more.
