Gaggan’s Greatest: In Residence At Mandala Club

From Bangkok to France, the team at Savour BlackBookAsia Magazine have travelled and tasted the brilliance of Gaggan Anand and Mauro Colagreco at their home restaurants. Now in Singapore just for a limited time, Mandala Club presents Gaggan’s Greatest to much applause.

It is the definitive retrospective menu for the die-hard Gaggan fan who has followed him through the years; it is the ultimate degustation for those who have yet to experience Gaggan’s culinary magic for themselves. This is the ‘end of an era’ menu: a compilation of Gaggan Anand’s greatest hits, accumulated through his career, and performed in Singapore at Mandala Club presents Gaggan Anand.

“The Gaggan Anand residency at Mandala Club, which has wowed over 12,000 patrons, has been wildly successful. We are pleased to announce a final extension due to popular demand that will allow more to experience this landmark collaboration — the second in the series of residencies under our Mandala Masters programme,” shares Ben Jones, co-founder and CEO of Mandala Group, the luxury lifestyle and hospitality group.

Extended for the final time, the residency will present GAGGAN ANAND’S GREATEST HITS from April until the end of June 2022. All part of a collective of core creations that made their debut between 2010-2019 — a critical era for Gaggan as he rose to international prominence — the dishes on this menu will be nothing less than the most outrageous, riotous, and delicious.

On the line-up are the most enthralling works, such as the signature amuse bouche of “Yogurt Explosion” from the early days, the more recent “Panipuri Middle Finger”, and the return of the provocative “LICK IT UP” — a dish to be licked straight off the plate to the sounds of the KISS anthem of the same name. Other gems that promise to excite the senses include a whimsical “Eggplant Cookie”, its plain appearance and humble ingredients belying a depth of surprising textures and flavours; and a beautifully sublime Tomato Matcha Tea, presented with the Zen of a traditional tea ceremony, yet carrying with it the distinct spirit of Gaggan’s creations.

Each a milestone dish in its own right, these items have been an important part of Gaggan’s repertoire over the past decade. Every dish perfectly encapsulates the irreverence and interactivity of a dining experience by Gaggan, and every morsel is a thoughtful culinary tribute to the biggest influences and inspirations in his life. Seize this rare opportunity to relish the definitive Gaggan Anand experience as the residency concludes.
