This award is based on ambiance, service, collaborations between other chefs, quality of produce/ingredients, and of course variety of food and beverage while factoring in sustainability. Bravo!

Celebrating the season of Singapore’s 58th National Day with diverse flavours of Singapore with a “Go Lokal” themed feast at Peppermint from 14 July until 12 August, and a “Go Lokal” themed Afternoon Tea at Portman’s Bar from 14 July until 31 August.

Created by Chef de Cuisine Leon Yee and his culinary team, the “Go Lokal” buffet spread includes a wide array of local favourites. This year, Chef Leon will also be introducing his new creation – Lychee Prawn Ball with Durian Cream Dip and Crab Claypot Rice!

Durian Buffet

Calling all durian lovers! Indulge in a unique outdoor dining experience with Peppermint’s exclusive durian buffet, available only during dinner on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! From Musang King (Maoshan Wang), to Red Prawn (D13), and D24, diners can indulge in unlimited servings of the King of Fruits.

Dishes which will be served during our “Go Lokal” promotion include Chicken Bak Kut Teh (Chicken Broth Cooked in Herbal Soup), DIY Kueh Pie Tee (Crispy Pastry Shells, filled with Radish and Prawns), Seafood Otak (Spicy Fish Cake) in Banana Leaf, Singapore-style Chili Lobster, Steamed Hokkaido Scallops with Vermicelli, Buah Keluak Wagyu Beef Belly “Kong Bak Bao”, Herbal Roasted Duck, Truffle Black Angus Minced Beef Roti John, and lots more!

“Go Lokal” at Portman’s Bar

Curated by Pastry Chef Christopher Eng and his pastry team, Portman’s Bar’s “Go Lokal” Afternoon Tea is inspired by the vibrant flavours and unique ingredients found in Singaporean cuisine. Indulge in local delights, such as, Chicken Floss Sliders, Crab Wanton, Satay, Fruit Rojak with Sakura Ebi, and more. For a sweet respite, guests can enjoy the Urban Farm Pandan, a pandan coconut tiramisu, infused with the fragrant flavours of gingko nut, or delight in the nostalgia of the Classic Butter Cake.

Skyline National Day BBQ

Now open for bookings for the Skyline National Day BBQ, which will take place on Wednesday 9 August 2023, from 6:30pm to 10:00pm, as we toast to our nation’s 58th birthday. There will be a wide spread of meat (including a whole lamb) and seafood, served throughout a live telecast of the National Day parade. Guests will also be able to witness the majestic State Flag Flypast, as well as fireworks display right from the Skyline.

The Skyline National Day BBQ is priced at $138++ per adult. Add $38++ for free-flow of house wine, beer, selected juices and soft drinks.
