With experience spanning more than 40 years, Guangdong-born Executive Chef Leung Wing Cheung spent 10 years in Hong Kong before coming over to Singapore in 1989. From picking out the finest ingredients to making sure the right amount of time is spent on preparing the soups, he focuses on bringing out the natural flavours of the original ingredients, a distinct characteristic of Cantonese cuisine, while minimising the usage of seasoning.
Let’s start with the excellent packaging, many dishes are sealed in metal containers to retain the essence of the food like aromas and temperature as if you are eating it in the restaurant itself. Must order is the Home Made Soya Milk that is rich and healthy and the best part is that it can be enjoyed anytime of the day or night as well as hot or cold. Adventurous gourmets should order the Chong Qing Chilled Chicken with Spicy Bean Sauce, which is a mouth watering appetiser with a fiery finish. Crispy Duo Of Spring Roll And Seafood Ngoh Hiang are well done and an excellent way to begin your meal. For mains choose the Chicken Wing Braised In Supreme Soy Sauce With Spring Onion And Ginger that taste like a home cooked course, both comforting and warms the heart. Seafood Fried Rice is topped with loads of crab meat that has been de-shelled for the convenience of guests. Ideally paired with Black Pepper Lobster that is finger licking good.
