1.WHAT IS YOUR DREAM DESTINATION AND WHY?

Torn between Siberia and Cuba. Siberia because i would love to see how their indigenous people cope with the harsh climate and survive. Cuba for the history and vintage classic cars you can see along the streets.

2.THREE THINGS THAT YOU COULD NEVER TRAVEL WITHOUT?

My mobile phone, headphones and my watch.

3.WHICH DESTINATION SURPASSED YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND SURPRISED YOU THE MOST?

I was in Malta for a wedding. Before that, i only read about how beautiful it was. Only when i arrived, i realised the beauty lay in the juxtaposition of nature and architecture. The blue grotto and the sandy forts… It was like in the movies but better!

4.WHERE AND WHAT WAS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MEAL YOU HAVE EVER HAD WHILE TRAVELLING?

I made a reservation at Steirereck, which is one of the world’s top 10 restaurants in Vienna. I was impressed by the presentation, taste, ambience and attention to detail. The bread cart had so many varieties of bread that after the waiter mentioned the first five, I could not remember it anymore. Every single dish that i had was a work of art.

5.WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING TO TRAVEL TO NEXT?

I will probably be in the States in summer for yet another wedding, and London for Christmas at the end of the year.

6.WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON?

The radio station is turning 10 this year, so we are working on a series of events to commemorate its birthday. For my own personal projects, I am hoping to learn singing properly, as well as find time to head to Japan for a facial acupuncture seminar.

7.DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS OR ADVICE FOR BUDDING RADIO DJS?

Do not be afraid to try. It does not matter if you do not have the right credentials (e.g. graduated from Mass Communications, majored in theatre studies etc.) Passion and tenacity are the most important qualities you need to possess in order to set foot in this industry.
