FOC Restaurant

Helmed by Michelin starred chef Nandu Jubany comes the much talk about FOC with its Catalan cuisine and probably one of the most extensive selection of cocktails in the Central Business district of Singapore, all amidst stylish and contemporary pop culture interiors.

Must try starters are Watermelon “Gazpacho” and Smoked Olive Oil Ice Cream, slight sweetness from the watermelon harmonises well with the smokiness of the olive oil; Octopus Galician style that is slow cooked till tender and charcoal grilled to add another dimension of flavour to this dish; Braised Beef Cheek Sliders, Mustard & Kimchi mayo are filled with beef so tender and moist that makes diners wanting to have seconds almost immediately.

Moving onto the mains; Black Mediterranean Squid Ink Paella is testament to the quality that this restaurant can produce, well cooked rice enveloped in rich squid ink topped with succulent prawns.

Grilled Iberico Pork Ribs & Smoked Pumpkin Puree is another interesting dish though slightly on the oiler side due to the type of pork used but still well balanced in taste with the use of pumpkin.

For that sweet ending try Crema Catalana” done in a special FOC Style or Flaming Rum Baba with Chantilly Ice Cream that tastes as good as the presentation.

If you are lost for choice from the sheer variety of cocktails, choose Good Old Diplomatic Pal Solera Aged, the process to make this drink is just too long to mention but can be savoured from the first sip to the last drop, true style and innovation in a glass.
