A Stellar Night At Le Diner En Blanc

The 6th edition of the most sought after secret event in the city took place at the F1 Pit Turn 23, in front of the Singapore Flyer amidst a pictureque view of Singapore’s Central Business District in front of the Singapore Flyer, for another unforgettable night of friendship, elegance, and fun.

Close to 1,200 guests descended upon the F1 Pit Turn 23 to join the annual most elegant outdoor picnic event Le Dîner en Blanc Singapore. The annual elegant secret dinner party this year attracted close to 1,200 guests, including local actors and hosts Jade Seah, Constance Lau, Sarah Benjamin, and Wallace Ang, radio personalities Sonia Chew of 987FM, Xie Jiafa of 883JiaFM, Simone Heng of Class95, Charmaine Yee of Kiss92FM, news personality Sharanjit Leyl, and other media members. The evening also saw participation from leading local Asian chefs Shen Tan, Dennis Chong of CreatureS, and home chef Tinoq Goh, who showcased their unique take on Asian fare curated for the most elegant picnic event; as well as folks from the local food blogging community who came together for an epicurean experience like no other.

Guests convened at various departure points throughout the city, before converging at the F1 Pit Turn 23, just before dusk for the sole purpose of feasting on an epicurean spread amongst good friends in one of Singapore’s most prestigious locations. Located right by the Marina Bay Reservoir, F1 Pit Turn 23 sits at the foot of the city’s iconic Singapore Flyer with a sublime view of Marina Bay Sands and ArtScience Museumas the backdrop, as well as the view of Singapore’s urban nature park, Gardens by the Bay.

Guests at the event were greeted by One Time Trio‘s unique act of lush sound scape driven by internationally acclaimed artiste, Randolf Arriola. Alongside him were percussionist extraordinaire Ridz Razali of Wicked Aura and didgeridoo player Stew Bamrah, who made their debut at the event.

Toting elegant white picnic baskets filled to the brim with gourmet treats, guests arrived on site to set up dinner tables embellished with unique table decor designs, including elegant candelabras, miniature lit Merlions, lanterns and sparkling lights, and enchanting floral arrangements by A Bucket Full of Roses at the VIF (Very Important Friends) and media tables.

Even the slight rain just before dinner commenced did not put a stop to the party, nor did it dampen the spirits of guests who were excitedly setting up their tables and meals. Shortly after table settings were perfected, the dinner commenced by the traditional waving of white linen serviettes.
