1. What is your dream destination and why?

My dream destination is a shuttle ride into space. Landing on the moon would be a bonus. As a kid I grew up with Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Trek. I would dream that one day we would have interstellar common travel in my lifetime.

2. Three things that you could never travel without?

I cannot name things that I never travel without because my main goal when I travel is to bring as little as possible and hopefully be in board shorts the whole time. Ironically I don’t need music when I travel.  Maybe the one thing I usually bring is a good book.  Preferably something by warren buffet.

3. Which destination surpassed your expectations and surprised you the most?

The first time I backpacked into Yosemite national park was amazing.  The elevations, wild life and views are outstanding. When I was living in the states we made it a point to backpack in for about 5 days a year. We learned the terrain so we would move off the beaten path and be where no other people were 20 miles deep into the woods. Encountering Bear is exhilarating, incredibly scary but beautiful.  There is something about sleeping under every star in the sky and cooking the fish you just caught over the camp fire. It grounds you, it humbles you, and you realize just how stupid the rat race is that we participate in every day.

4. Where and what was your most memorable meal you have ever had while travelling?

To this day my favourite meal while travelling is Jimbaran seafood Bali. I can’t get enough of it.

5. Where are you looking to travel to next?

My next trip is going to be June. My girlfriend and I are going to Europe. Unbelievable to think I haven’t ever stepped foot on European soil unless you count Heathrow airport. We’re going to do London, Paris, and Rome.

6. What projects are you currently working on?

My day job is the Morning drive time on Gold 905 radio station in Singapore.  From there I act in drama’s, Films, and sit-com’s. Currently one of my favourite gigs is a weekly live show on channel 5 in Singapore called “Ok Chope” essentially it’s the Singapore version of “Who’s Line is it Anyway”. Improv comedy but were doing it LIVE!!! Love it.

7. Do you have any tips or advice for budding actors/ actresses/ Radio DJs?

People ask me all the time how to get into the business or if I have any tips.  If you wanna be an actor, get into acting classes and stay there. You will meet people and eventually that will kick start your career.  I don’t have the slightest clue as to how an aspiring model should go about breaking in…. I guess just be super duper really really really (ala Zoolander) good looking.  My best advice is what I tell everyone….. if you don’t absolutely love this business so much so that you would be willing to be broke the rest of your life, get out now!!  If you really truly love the craft, you will succeed.  Too many people are in it for the fame… they end up depressed and leaving the business when they are 30 or 40 and having to start a new career from the bottom up.
